Myedica's Mini Pizza
I didn't burn them! A new record! :D |
Time: 5-10 mins, 20 mins for the base
Best for: Parties, Snacks.
Note: This recipe is for a large batch, like for a party.
Ingredients:
5 cups of whole wheat flour.
Pizza sauce or ordinary ketchup.
1 cup of shredded cheese
Slices of salami or bacon
a few olives
1/2 cup of sliced veggies (tomatoes, onions and peppers work best!)
A few pinches of black pepper and seasoning.
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Pour a bit of water into a bowl and add the flour, kneading it into dough. Roll this dough into little balls, and then lightly push down on them to form a mini pizza base. Aren't they cute? ;)Bake them in the oven for around 20 mins, just as you would bake bread.
After they're been baked, Let them cool down. Now's my fav part!
Arrange your toppings. You can do this any way you like, but it works best with pizza sauce first, veggies next, seasoning on them, salami/bacon later, and finally the cheese. Top it with some pepper and basil.
Back in the oven! 5-10 mins this time, just to let the cheese melt. Don't let anything burn, though that crispy edge is temping, it's too risky for me!
Serve hot! ;)
